official season in 1997. A WNBA game is made of four quarters of ten
minutes duration each and the standard WNBA rules are basically those
used in the NBA as well as the European Leagues Championship known as
the FIBA.
Throughout the WNBA history there have been a total of 18 teams
participating in the league of which these four are not active: Miami
Sol (2000-2002), Portland Fire (2000-2002), Cleveland Rockers
(1997-2003), and the Charlotte Sting (1997-2011).
As the Female basketball association continues to grow there is more TV
coverage for the regular season games and as of the 2011 season two more
channels will be included to broadcast the weekly games.

When you are looking at betting the NBA
playoffs the goal is to win. We have some great information to help you
toward that goal.
NBA Playoff Betting - If you want to make money at NBA betting
then the playoffs could be your best bet. The playoffs offer different
opportunities than the regular season.
The NBA Playoffs are four rounds of competition between sixteen teams in
the Eastern Conference and Western Conferences Divisions, of the
National Basketball Association. The winners of the First Round advance
to the Conference Semifinals, and the winners of the Conference
Semifinals go on to the NBA Conference Finals. Finally, the champions of
each conference face each other in the NBA Finals.
NBA Playoff Betting Tips
Defense wins championships and during the postseason intensity picks up
defensively, making for low scores. Unlike the regular season, teams
play much tighter and become more mindful of defense.
NBA Playoff Adjustments - Teams make adjustments during the playoffs.
You must do the same thing with your betting. The NBA playoffs are not
the regular season and you can't bet them the same.
If you live in the East, most likely you'll be pulling for the Eastern
conference champions. But history shows the West has dominated in the
NBA Finals. In seven of the past ten years the West has claimed the
title.
NBA Playoff Betting Patience - Just because it is the playoffs doesn't
mean you have to bet every game. Situations will arise that are
profitable. You just have to wait for them.
NBA Playoff Line Shopping - Just as you do in the regular season, you
must get the best line possible for every playoff game.
NBA Playoff Reliability - The NBA playoffs are actually more reliable
than the regular season in many respects. You always know both teams are
going to give a premium effort every night.
