A Note on Centlines

The centline is the American system of prices. The type of centline used determines the difference in price between the favorite and the underdog, and also determines the incremental difference between one line move and the next.

If it is a 20 cent line the favorite is 20 cents more than the underdog
e.g. +1.20 against -140, +140 against -160

If it is a 10 cent line the favorite is 10 cents more than the underdog
e.g. +1.20 against -130, +140 against -150
